Volume 1. Cooper's Tale
In Cooper’s Tale, Venus, who is made of light, spends a day on earth as part of Charm School training. She shapeshifts her tail into legs by taking a micro-dose of the Logic Spell. She is curious to learn more about Greedy Hughmans, because most mermaids don’t believe they (or badness) really exist. Because she only took a microdose, Venus remembers she is a mermaid even though she has legs, and so she can communicate with all plants, animals, helping spirits, minerals and insects. They can communicate with her too, and they see she walks the beauty road.
Venus comes upon a farm, where she sees some cows in the Near Side Farm have been imprisoned and brainwashed by a being known as the Overrancher. The cows have divided themselves into 3 groups that dismiss each other as bad: the Hinmoos, Moodhists and Cowballahs. Each group thinks its better than the rest and no one thinks the other group matters.
Venus sees a group of hummingbirds and Cooper’s hawks working together to free the cows, along with Harriet the Flying Fox, 3 mice who might be blind, and some other farm animals who are up to all good. Venus is confused because the back of the cows’ pen is open - they are free to roam. But they have been brainwashed using a device called a Narsississ Stick - it holds a mirror their eyes that makes them think they are the Only One. (Mermaids know we are all the Chosen Ones.)
Vol. 1 of this book follows Venus’s adventure in learning interspecies harmony by working with various types of animals. They work together to free the cows and get to them to the Far Side Farm, where they undergo group conflict moodiation in Vol. 2 to heal past trauma.

Volume 2. Ladies Coop
In Ladies Coop, Venus, the birds, cows and various other characters from Vol. 1 will heal using actual trauma informed interventions, circle practice from Restorative Justice and traditional conflict mediation skills. Ladies Coop will be a zentangle coloring book that guide readers through the transformation of a series of conflicts.
Conflict One (Internal Conflict): A chigger, smaller than all the other animals in the story, has to overcome negative views of herself. She walks among flowers in the Inner Flower Garden, where she learns how to manage her inner Emotional Flower Power using the 5 chakra system from Tibetan medicine as a guide. These emotions follow the same system that will be used in all books to promote emotional intelligence.
Conflict Two (Interpersonal Conflict): Coopers Hawks and Hummingbirds work together as Lady Flighter Pilots, and because they are big birds and little birds, they are usually paired together. The hummingbirds feel like the hawks push them around just because they are bigger. The hawks are trying to understand and develop empathy. This conflict will use one-on-one mediation, with student mediators serving as the change agents.
Conflict Three (Group Conflict): The cows have come home to roost. The Hinmoos, Moodhists and Cowballahs talk out their past beef with each other in a group mediation. Octomom mediates. Each cow thinks its group is better or worse than the others, and come to realize they were brainwashed by the Overrancher, which symbolizes the Mass Media Machine. Do the cows need reparations? Does forgiveness matter? How can the cows tolerate their differences?
Conflict Four (Group Conflict): All the animals - birds, cows, insects and mermaids - sit together and learn restorative justice-based circle process. This group conflict will focus on elements that create resiliency in community, using specific tools from multi-cultural conflict resolution. The group learns how to make conflict constructive rather than destructive, and that every voice matters.
